Yes and no. We have to be very careful with the Texas laws. If insurance is involved and they have included a roof replacement as part of their estimate, we are obligated to do the work for the same price, in order to be in full compliance with H.B. 2102 (2019), also known as the “deductible law.”
However, if a roof replacement, roof repair, or other work is outside of an insurance claim, we are able to provide our own estimate based on our agreed scope of work.
Yes. The Texas law that was enacted in September 2019 called H.B. 2102, is very clear that contractors AND homeowners break the law if the chosen contractor is found to cover, absorb, pay for, discount, or not fully receive payment for the deductible. Thus, in most cases, the homeowners’ out-of-pocket is exactly equal to their deductible. We recommend strongly that a homeowner chooses, at the maximum, a 1% deductible. To assist with the out-of-pocket, we provide financing and try to make one upgrade (i.e. shingle upgrade, gutter upgrade, etc.)

Reliable and Quick Response time. Matt, Benn and team were able to fix a long standing roofing issue that was due to bad design and the builder blamed it on the hail storm. We had another roofer also that tried but couldn't solve the problem. I am very happy with one source and their quality of work. They personally explained to me what the issue was and how they were going to fix it and I am glad they were able to do so! Matt was easily reachable to and always responded back at a reasonable time and very professional!

Quick response time to my inquiry. Matt worked around my schedule to come out and evaluate my roof. My flashing was coming up and he came up with the best option to make the necessary repair as well as make it blend in with the rest of the roof! I had another company before OneSource who did a terrible job and did not resolve my problem, actually made it look worse. Matts roofer worker did an amazing job, he even noticed another problem around one of the pipes and he took care of that too. Even though it was a small job, he gave it the same attention as I'm sure he would for a big job. Matt at OneSource has earned my business, and I will definitely call him for future roof needs.
